Angela Render is a professional web developer writes historical fiction, science fiction, fantasy and cross-genre romantica. Her historical fiction novel, Forged By Lightning: A Novel of Hannibal and Scipio (ISBN: 1411680022 and 978-1411680029) was published in April of 2006. Her work has appeared in Smithsonian Magazine Online and she has a column in Writers' Journal called "Computer Business." She also teaches classes on internet marketing for writers at the Bethesda Writers' Center and has appeared as a panelist at Balticon and as a guest speaker for the Maryland Writers' Association Baltimore Chapter. Her short story, "The Dryad," appears in the Maryland Writers' Association Anthology, New Lines From the Old Line State.
